Franklin Graham didn’t mince words during his appearance Tuesday night on the American Family Association’s Pray and Vote Special.
“We’re on the precipice of losing the United States of America,” Franklin Graham said. “We better get out there and vote. … I’m telling you, don’t stay home, and don’t let someone try to tell you that your vote doesn’t count.”

Every vote counts, and that’s something Franklin Graham reminded Christians nationwide this year during his Decision America Tour. More than 200,000 people joined him as he visited all 50 state capitals to pray and seek God’s favor. At every stop, he urged believers to vote and to prayerfully engage politically.
Christians cannot sit on the sidelines, Franklin Graham has insisted this year, and during his appearance on Tuesday night, he drove home why picking the next president is so important. That person, he said, could appoint up to five Supreme Court justices, and that can have implications for decades.
“You need to decide who you think is going to appoint the best justices,” Franklin Graham said.
“Ask God who you should vote for and then go do it. Both of these [presidential] candidates are flawed. They’re not perfect. It’s not a perfect world. We don’t live in that. When Jesus Christ comes back and He establishes His throne on this earth, then we’re going to have a perfect world, but we’re not there yet.
“But until then, we’ve got a job to do, and let’s try to preserve the freedom that we have in this country as long as we can.”
