Seattle Officers Honored at Special Dinner

The Billy Graham Rapid Response Team (BG-RRT) hosted a Law Enforcement Appreciation Dinner on May 11 in Seattle, Washington. Officers and their spouses were warmly welcomed by BG-RRT staff and chaplains. A dinner to honor Portland-area law enforcement was held on May 6.

Franklin Graham, who posted about the event on Facebook, said, “It is important for these men and women who sacrifice to serve their communities to know that we—and you—support them and stand behind them.” Officers and their spouses attending the event expressed their gratitude for the support and spiritual encouragement they received.

Former atheist-turned-apologist and best-selling author J. Warner Wallace encouraged the officers and their spouses. As a cold-case homicide investigator, Wallace became a Christ-follower at 35 after investigating the claims of the New Testament Gospels using his skill set as a detective.
