Solving the Problem

By   •   July 16   •   Topics:

Only a few years ago children were delighted at the prospect of a trip to the wharves to see the great ships come in. Today they are blasé about helicopters and jet planes. We who once marveled at the telegraph now take for granted the far greater miracle of television. Not so long ago many of the physical diseases were termed hopeless and incurable. Today we have drugs so effective that age-old diseases are becoming rare. We have accomplished much, of that there is no doubt. But with all this progress, we have not solved the basic problem of the human race. We can build the highest buildings, the fastest ships, the longest bridges—but we still can’t govern ourselves, or live together peacefully and with equality.

Prayer for the day

In loving and being loved by You, there is all I have longed for, my Savior, Jesus Christ.

I just thumped across your page not by accident but by Divine appointment. God willing, I’ll be joining you and many other christians as we pray and intercede for our nation. God will hear and answer our prayers according to His will. Let us hold fast until Jesus comes.
Soon and very soon, we are going to see the King of kings and Lord of lords. Let us continue to pray for one another so much the more as we see the day of the Lord approaching. God loves you and so do I.

i do so enjoy your magazine. it is the best informative spiritual magazine i know of. our denomination has quit our weekly hard copy publication and i really miss it. it had good sermons, ideas, info etc. news of interest like yours. as soon as i can i am ordering one. we are retired ministers on a set income at 83 and 86 so you do bless me sir. i went to jefferson city to the prayer rally and was thoroughly blessed and challenged. right now my email is not working. i am on face book but… again God bless you richly it seems so many of our pastors don’t get excited about things coming down the tube today that prove his coming. kinda sad. but i pray daily and so does my husband.. our churches have changed soo very much and seem so lacking.

  8. Gerry says:

Scripture continues to unfold daily. We only have to look at Paris and Nice as the most recent examples of our fallen world and prophecy unfolding. God is the Holy refuge for all who believe and accept that great truth. We will happily serve him through eternity.

  9. Max says:

With Lucifer and his literally thousands of minions (one third of the Heavenly Angels) loose on Planet Earth to stir the pot there will never be peace on Earth until the Second coming of Jesus Christ. The best we Christians can do is to set a Godly example and win all the Souls we can to Jesus Christ.

  10. mayowa ladega says:
