The Billy Graham Rapid Response Team (BG-RRT) is in Rock Hill, South Carolina, where a severe thunderstorm—producing hail as large as three inches—wreaked havoc.

More than 100 homes were damaged in the massive hailstorm that broke windows, ripped down fences, and turned yards white with balls of hail.

Chaplains are ministering to those affected by the storm—and offering them the lasting peace and comfort that’s available only through a relationship with God’s Son, Jesus Christ.

“The storm that affected Rock Hill caught many people off-guard. The winds and hail of this magnitude are normally associated with a tornado, and their damaging effects can be seen throughout the area,” said Josh Holland, international director of the BG-RRT.

“Our crisis-trained chaplains will be in Rock Hill to provide emotional and spiritual support to the community and to show them the hope of Christ in the midst of this storm.”

>>Please pray for the Rock Hill community affected by the storm and for chaplains who are serving there.
