Are there verses in the Bible about God being three in one—where all three persons of the Trinity are mentioned together? I attended a Bible study and the teacher said that there is no such thing as the Trinity and that Jesus never claimed there was.

Some years ago, a teacher asked his students if anyone could explain electricity. One student claimed he could. The teacher said, “Explain it to the class.” The student said, “I knew it last night, but this morning I’ve forgotten.” The teacher shook his head sadly and said to the class, “What a tragedy. The only person in the world ever to understand electricity, but has forgotten!”
This brings a smile, but may describe our lack of understanding when it comes to God being three in One: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. But it is a Biblical truth. While the word “trinity” is not used in Scripture, the order and function are described. Thus, we say that we pray to the Father through the Son and in the power of the Holy Spirit. We may not fully understand, but God gives us the faith to accept this great mystery while we experience the dynamic power of this truth.
The Apostle Paul ended one of his New Testament letters with these words: “May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all” (2 Corinthians 13:14, NIV).
One of the most memorable passages from Jesus is when He said, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 28:19).
