My Hope Malawi: TV Special

By   •   April 6, 2011

Three stories from three different villages. All in a half-hour program.

The My Hope project gripped the country of Malawi, which will never be the same as over 166,000 decisions were made for Christ in early November, just before the rainy season kicked in.

And rain played a critical role in the program, which will give viewers a back-stage look at the project from three distinct villages: Jacob, Khombedza and Nsanje.

Watch how God used Mary, Halord and Maclean for His Kingdom “God commanded us to go to all the world to preach the Gospel,” BGEA President and CEO Franklin Graham said in the program.

“This isn’t just for preachers, evangelists or missionaries. It’s for all of us. The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association takes this command to heart by teaching and equipping believers to do just that through My Hope.”

Besides dealing with weather challenges, people of Malawi were faced with obstacles such as the lack of electricity and native cult practices.

“The Lord made it all possible,” said Mary Banda, featured in the TV special, with her husband George. “I can see His victory. Many people have given their lives to Jesus Christ.”
