Will Graham spoke before more than 550 excited and prayerful people at the January 6 Church Leaders Rally in Fairmont, West Virginia. The event precedes the Mountain State Celebration, April 24-26.
There is a great passion in Fairmont to see their community and region reached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. People from many different churches came together for the event at the Trinity Assembly of God.
The three-day Mountain State Celebration in April is the culmination of many events, including community prayer gatherings, classes on how to share your faith and more.
At the end of his message, Will prayed specifically for the people of West Virginia and the challenges they face. "Lord, this state is inundated with drugs. This state is struggling. Lord, will you come down and break the chains over this state? Break the chains once and for all. You’re the only hope for this state and this world."
Josh Havens and Matt Fuqua of The Afters led the large group in powerful worship.
During a time of prayer, attendees lifted up the Celebration. They prayed for those who don't know Christ to be drawn to April's Celebration, where Will Graham will preach the Gospel.
"There are people looking for help. They know they have problems," said Will Graham. "But they don’t have the resources to fix the problems and their condition is getting worse," he said, referring to how we all need Jesus Christ to cure issues of the human heart.
