Getting Equipped to Love on Those in the Line of Duty

By Todd Sumlin   •   June 26, 2019

Dozens of law enforcement officers attended a Law Enforcement Chaplaincy Training Program hosted by the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team (RRT) in Dallas, Texas, the last week of June.
The program first started in 2018 to equip active or retired law enforcement officers who desire to minister to their peers and coworkers.
"Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you." —Deuteronomy 31:6
The seminar is the third of its kind and the first to take place in Texas. During a break, chaplains enjoy walking the grounds of the scenic Dallas Baptist University.
Each speaker has a law enforcement background. That helps them relate to their audience of officers who constantly face high pressure situations.
Prayer is a powerful source of communication with God that can be used to protect those in the line of duty. Will you commit to praying for law enforcement?
Another Law Enforcement Chaplaincy Training Program will take place in Orange County, California, this November.
