More than 5,000 people filled the Midland County Horseshoe Arena in Midland, Texas, for the second stop on Decision Texas: The Lone Star Tour with Franklin Graham. Find dates, times and other details for the next stops on the tour.
Franklin Graham began by praying for the state of Texas and for the nation. He talked about recent tragedies in the news and turned to Jesus’ words in Luke chapter 13: “…those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them: do you think that they were worse offenders than all the others who lived in Jerusalem? No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish” (Luke 13:4-5, ESV).
As he mentioned recent events like hurricanes and wildfires, Franklin encouraged the people of Midland with the truth that God loves them and wants everyone to turn to Jesus Christ as Savior.
This family was engaged in the music and the message from start to finish.
Franklin invited the people to repent (to turn away from their sins) and follow Christ.
The crowd cheered and praised the Lord as dozens of people of all ages made their way to the foot of the stage to indicate making a decision to follow Christ. Many of those who responded to Franklin’s invitation texted BGEA to get follow-up materials to help them grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Volunteer counselors were on hand to talk with people who came forward during the invitation to accept Christ.
This Texan knows how to get a crowd going. But Crowder’s music has a deeper message: Jesus Christ is the Son of God who is still saving people from sin.

At each stop on the Decision Texas Tour, Billy Graham Rapid Response Team chaplains are scattered throughout the crowd to talk and pray with anyone who needs it.
Midland is home to about 135,000 people and is located in West Texas, close to the New Mexico border. The road to Midland is lined with oil rigs, cotton fields and green brush.
Decision Texas continues through next week with stops in: Corpus Christi, San Antonio, Round Rock, Waco and Longview.
