On January 13, Franklin Graham visited Los Angeles County, California, where crisis-trained chaplains from the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team are offering prayer at a Samaritan's Purse field hospital that was set up to help with a coronavirus outbreak. The field hospital officially opened January 16 for patients.
Partnering with Antelope Valley Hospital in Lancaster, Samaritan's Purse and the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team have hospital tents for 50-plus beds to serve COVID-positive patients. Los Angeles County, is California's most populous county. The region recently passed 1 million confirmed cases since the pandemic began, and more than 15,000 have died in the area.
Franklin Graham greeted this chaplain couple, who's willing to do whatever it takes to share the hope of Jesus Christ.
