On Thursday, more than 650 people met Dr. Ben Carson at the Billy Graham Library, where he signed copies of his new book, The Perilous Fight.
“We’re very grateful for Dr. Ben Carson,” said Will Graham as he introduced the neurosurgeon and former U.S. Cabinet member to the crowd. “We’re very thankful for his Christian beliefs and how he stands up for [his] faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and how God has used him.”
Carson shared his reason behind writing the book, which gets its name from the U.S. national anthem.
“We are in a fight right now for the soul of our nation,” he explained. “We have to return to our faith in God, and that’s what will stop our downward spiral.”
