In past weeks, all eight venues contracted to host Franklin Graham’s evangelistic U.K. tour have said they’re canceling amid pressure from protesters.
Martyn Iles, director of the Australian Christian Lobby, an advocacy group based in Canberra, weighs in.
“It’s got nothing to do with diversity. … It’s got nothing to do with tolerance. … It has nothing to do with division,” he said. “[Franklin Graham is] going to speak a simple Gospel message. That’s what they’re banning.”
