“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness…!”
—Isaiah 5:20, ESV
A spiritual battle is taking place across America this election season, and its impact is being felt all the way from the White House right into our own homes.
“I know many Christians who have felt so disheartened by the darkness that we are facing,” said Cissie Graham Lynch on her newest Fearless podcast episode. “Our battle is not between political parties. It’s the epic spiritual battle of good versus evil, truth versus lies.”
As she wraps up her series on key issues impacting our families at the ballot box, Cissie calls on listeners to see the upcoming election as an opportunity to vote in a way that could change the moral fiber of our country.
“One of the most important things we can do for our families, our churches, and our country is to vote for leaders who will bring strength to combat the forces that are hell-bent on tearing us apart,” she said. “I believe we fight against evil, and we stand for truth.”
Whether it’s agenda-based curriculum in schools, gender confusion, and abortion, or religious freedom, immigration, and the impact of the economy on family finances, Christians can’t remain silent.
“Make no mistake, if we don’t speak up, the evil one will. If we stay silent, … evil will fill the gap,” Cissie said. “There is a world … desperate to hear truth. We just have to speak it with love and grace. The truth is, Jesus is the only One who can rescue us out of the kingdom of darkness.”
