How are you spiritually preparing your children for life in college—and beyond?
On her latest Fearless podcast episode, Cissie Graham Lynch spoke with apologist Frank Turek about how parents can set their kids up for success when it comes to standing strong for Jesus Christ.
“We need to put them on the offense so they’re not on the defense all the time,” Cissie said. “We need to prepare them and strengthen them.”
Our kids need to be raised to know what they believe—and why they believe it, she added.
“Most people today are not on a truth quest, they’re on a happiness quest,” Turek observed. He’s spent many hours on university campuses, teaching students God’s truth through apologetics.
Cissie and Turek also discussed Hollywood films—including Harry Potter—and how our favorite movies can be opportunities for sharing the Gospel.
“Because you can say, if you like Harry Potter, you’re gonna love Jesus. Why? Let me just give you four ways Harry Potter parallels the life of Christ,” Turek said.
