Mr. Barrows is being joined at the event by celebrated Gospel soloist Wintley Phipps and seasoned Bible teacher Dr. Don Hubbard.

“What a joy it is to experience the beauty and serenity of The Cove once again during another year of SeniorCelebrations,” said Mr. Barrows. “Our guests will be challenged by the powerful teaching of Dr. Hubbard and moved by the joyful and stirring music of Wintley Phipps. We are looking forward to a marvelous time at all of these events.”

Dr. Hubbard is a former senior pastor of Boca Raton Community Church he and his wife, Joy, have traveled widely in the cause of missions. Mr. Phipps is a world-renowned vocal artist and Grammy Award nominee who has sung for four presidents and at several Billy Graham Crusades. Mr. Phipps also performed at the Billy Graham Library dedication ceremony in 2007.

The three-day event is the first of four SeniorCelebrations taking place at The Cove in 2009. Other events will be held June 1-3, August 24-26 and September 21-23. In June, the event will feature Bible teacher and author RT Kendall and music from local Gospel singers Bob and Jeanne Johnson.

Those interested can register by visiting The Cove’s Web site or by calling (800) 950-2092.

SeniorCelebrations address the specific interests of seniors today with teaching from God’s Word to help them live for Jesus Christ and share Him with others. The event offers guests renewal through fellowship, enlightening workshops, and hymn-based worship. While anyone is welcome to attend SeniorCelebrations, the program is designed for people ages 55 and up.
