“For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” —2 Corinthians 12:10, ESV
Have you ever looked at someone else’s life and felt “less-than?” Do you wonder if “I am enough?”
The self-centered world we live in tells us that we don’t need to compare ourselves to anyone else because we are enough.
But on the second installment of her latest Fearless podcast series, Cissie Graham Lynch tells her listeners that this is the next “Lie of I”—the lie that we can be “enough.”
“We see other people living in these lives, taking these vacations, getting these job promotions, these beautiful homes … it can be overwhelming.” Cissie said.
“And what is enough?” Apart from God, we will never measure up or be truly satisfied, she added.
“The real question is—‘is God enough?’” Cissie said, focusing in on the true source of our fulfillment.
