The Billy Graham Rapid Response Team (BG-RRT) chaplains are ministering in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in response to severe storms.
Two people were killed and many more were injured in the storm, with more than 200,000 left without power.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Tulsa,” said Richard Brown, senior manager of operations and deployment of the BG-RRT. “After seeing the amount of devastation that was in Tulsa, Oklahoma, we made the important decision to deploy.
“We are sending our crisis-trained chaplains to pray with, listen to, and share God’s love with those who have been impacted by this storm.”
Five chaplains are serving there alongside disaster relief organization Samaritan’s Purse to provide spiritual encouragement and remind this community that there is hope in Jesus Christ.
Please pray for all those affected by this terrible storm and for the BG-RRT chaplains who are helping them in Jesus’ Name.
