Answer
A friend keeps telling me that God loves me, but how do I know it's true? My parents divorced when I was 9 and I was raised (reluctantly) by my grandparents, so all my life I've felt that no one loves me. Why is God any different?
Answer
I know I'm supposed to trust God with my life, but I can't. I grew up in a very abusive situation and learned even as a child not to trust anyone. I wish I could get over this feeling, and I've tried, but I just can't. Does God understand the way I feel?
Answer
Why doesn't God stop all the evil in the world? I know we're supposed to believe that God is kind and loving, but I just lost my 6-year-old nephew to leukemia, and it's hard to keep believing in a loving God.
Answer
I don't believe God would ever condemn anyone or send them to what you Christians call "hell." I believe God is perfect love, and He has an infinite capacity to overlook the sins we commit. Why do some preachers keep talking about hell?
Answer
I know you'll say it's wrong to be filled with hate and bitterness, but I had a very rough time growing up, and I just can't help it. God must have hated me very much to put me through all that, and I'm sure He still hates me because of my attitude. What would you say to someone like me?
Answer
It seems to me that God ought to let everyone into heaven if He truly loves us.
Answer
How can you say that God is a loving God when so much of the Bible talks about God judging people?
Answer
I think it's hard to love someone who is as strict as God is. What am I missing?
Answer
If God hates sin, then He must hate me a whole lot because I've done just about everything bad you can imagine.
Answer
I know you talk a lot about a loving God, but I just can't get over my fear that He'll punish me if I do anything wrong.
Answer
Does God love people who don't want anything to do with Him and do terrible things?
Answer
My friend believes a loving God wouldn't send anyone to hell. Is he right?
