Starting today in Jacksonville, Franklin Graham is embarking on the six-city Decision America Sunshine State Tour across Florida. Franklin Graham will share the Good News of Jesus Christ at each stop and give attendees an opportunity to start or come back to a relationship with Jesus Christ. The Sunshine State Tour
is also aimed at encouraging Christians to boldly live out their faith in their community. For a tourist town like Jacksonville, the potential impact of Saturday's event could extend far beyond city limits.
Florida's sunny weather and sandy beaches make a nice backdrop for the latest Decision America Tour. But more importantly, local volunteers hope these events will lead people to the far better promise of eternal life in paradise by believing in Jesus Christ.
“The most critical thing you can do is pray, pray, pray," Franklin Graham has said about the Decision America Tour. "The intercession of God’s people is crucial if we are to see a return to the Biblical faith of our fathers, the faith that has guided and sustained our country for so long.”
The beachside venue for the Jacksonville stop is in a central location that may draw many people simply passing by. Please join the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and local volunteers in praying those who need to hear the Gospel message will come and be transformed by the Good News of Jesus Christ.
The Decision America Tour with Franklin Graham first debuted in 2016 with prayer rallies in all 50 U.S. capitals. Since then, Graham has continued the tour, drawing hundreds of thousands of people to events in the Pacific Northwest, the Northeast, Tennessee, Texas and California.
After Jacksonville, Graham will head about 200 miles south to share the Gospel in Plant City, Florida, on Sunday afternoon.
Plant City is known as the "Winter Strawberry Capital of the World" and hosts the annual Florida Strawberry Festival. Sunday, the sweet sound of God's Word will ring out from this venue.
The local community plays an essential role in promoting Decision America Tour events. Oftentimes, business owners and employees will put up posters to help get the word out.
