The Greater Birmingham Festival of Hope with Franklin Graham
is coming up Aug. 14-16. Franklin Graham visited the city to pray with leaders who are supporting the event and praying for others in their city to turn to Christ. Here, Franklin Graham prays with Birmingham Police Chief A.C. Roper.

About 60 business leaders from the Birmingham, Alabama, area meet with Franklin Graham to learn more about the Greater Birmingham Festival of Hope in August.

At a noon prayer session in Birmingham, pastors were encouraged to pray for one another, as well as their city, state and country.
Franklin Graham spent time with about 100 pastors and community leaders in Birmingham, Alabama, on April 13. Many of them are involved in the Greater Birmingham Festival of Hope this August. Franklin Graham will be preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the same city where his father, Billy Graham, preached in 1964, in the midst of the Civil Rights Movement. Mr. Graham also preached in Birmingham in 1972.
