Coloradans Encouraged to Look Up to God

On Oct. 5, 2,500 people attended the Northern Colorado Look Up Celebration with Will Graham and many responded to the invitation to find new life in Jesus Christ. The event in Loveland, Colorado, continued the following day.
The two-night Northern Colorado Look Up Celebration took place at Blue Arena at The Ranch Events Complex. Loveland is about 45 miles north of Denver, Colorado’s state capitol.
Will Graham shared the difference between following Christ and choosing any other spiritual belief. “[In] all other religions, people die for their god,” he said. “Christianity is the only religion where God died for you.”
The Bible says in Psalm 22:3 that God inhabits the praise of His people. The Holy Spirit moved powerfully in Loveland as people freely worshiped Him.
As Will Graham shared God’s Word, many hearts and souls were pierced by the truth. At the end of his message, the evangelist invited the crowd to surrender their lives to Jesus Christ. “This is the most important point of the night,” he said. “Eternity is at stake. This is one decision you will never regret.”
“I realized a long time ago that there’s something special about singing with my brothers and sisters in Christ,” said Christian artist Aaron Shust. “It’s different when you’re singing about somebody, but to not just somebody, but the King of the universe.”
Rend Collective led a high-energy, yet soulful time of worship. Now that the event is over, will you pray for those who made a decision for Christ to connect with a Bible-based church, be discipled, and grow in their faith?
On Saturday morning, hundreds of parents and children attended KidzFest. The Gospel-centered outreach included bounce houses and fun, along with an evangelistic program that shared the Good News in a way a child can understand.
At one point between songs, Michael W. Smith paused to say a blessing over the audience: “May the Lord bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. May the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace,” he said, citing Numbers 6:24–26 in the Bible.
“Isn’t the Lord good?” asked artist Christine D’Clario, onstage here with her children. “I don’t know how many people in here have a story to tell, but I have a few. In each and every story in my life, the common denominator is that God is still faithful. He does not fail.”
These joyful smiles speak volumes. Isaiah 54:13 says, “All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children” (ESV).
In Sunday’s message, Will Graham talked about how a person’s job, their marriage, or money doesn’t bring the lasting happiness that following Jesus Christ offers. “I know a number of wealthy people that have everything they could ever imagine,” he said, “and they’re still not happy.”
This group shared a fun moment for the camera before Sunday’s free, family-friendly event. More than 5,000 people attended the two-day Northern Colorado Celebration—which included KidzFest. Thousands of others watched the livestream online.
We praise God that more than 300 people decided to surrender their hearts to Christ over the weekend. Will you pray for them to be connected to a Bible-based church where they can be discipled and grow in their faith?
