Chaplains Minister in Wilmington, NC, After Florence
Billy Graham Rapid Response Team (RRT)
chaplains are reaching out to Wilmington, North Carolina, residents who are cleaning up from flooding caused by Hurricane Florence. The team is also deployed to the flood-ravaged cities of New Bern and Jacksonville, North Carolina.
Give to help minister to those affected by the storm
.
The RRT's Mobile Ministry Center is a place where people can share and pray with chaplains. Here, a member of the team talks with a person waiting in line for help.
Just listening is also a vital part of the ministry.
After Florence passed through, many rivers in North and South Carolina continued to rise, causing additional flooding.
Volunteers with Samaritan's Purse work on top of this roof. Meanwhile, Billy Graham chaplains spend time with the homeowner.
Chaplains pray with a Wilmington woman affected by the storm.
When you're going through a crisis, it's comforting to know you're not alone. The chaplains' message of God's love has been encouraging to many in the coastal areas of North Carolina following Florence.
