Celebrations in Japan

By   •   September 30, 2013

Seventy area churches in the prefecture of Fukushima partnered together with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) to host the Celebration of Hope.
The Celebration in Fukushima included a special children's program.
The entire prefecture of Fukushima has only 4,100 Christians in it. However, over the course of two days, including a special event for children, 3,181 Japanese attended and were told that they were loved by the Savior.
Many in Fukushima were looking for hope. Life has been difficult since the 2011 earthquake, tsunami and resulting nuclear plant meltdown.
