Photos: 10th Annual Bikers with Boxes Event at Billy Graham Library
The Billy Graham Library
hosted the 10th annual Bikers with Boxers event on Saturday, Oct. 21. Over 1200 motorcyclists from across the Southeastern U.S. attended and brought thousands of gift-filled shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child, which helps children in need around the world and
shares the Gospel
.
Just one shoebox can make a big difference in the life of a child.
Look at all those bikes!
Participants enjoyed a complimentary lunch and heard updates from emcee Tim Helms throughout the day on how many boxes had been collected.
Some were new to Bikers with Boxes and others come regularly. One couple traveled over 500 miles from Ohio to attend.

tour.
Since the event began, these generous bikers have collected more than 26,000 gift-filled shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child.
Vladimir Prokhnevskiy, a former shoebox recipient from Ukraine who now volunteers with Operation Christmas Child, shared his story with attendees. He talked about how the boxes are much more than a gift—they're also an opportunity to share the Gospel.
There was a special panel showing pictures and memorabilia of Bikers with Boxers over the past 10 years.
Chris Shelton led an inspirational devotional that clearly declared
the Gospel message.

Volunteers pray before the bikers roll in.
These are just a few of the generous men and women who broke last year's record for the most shoeboxes collected. This year's 6,190 boxes beat last year's 5,436.
A fun souvenir from a fun day.
Attendees received special 10-year Bikers with Boxes patches to remember this milestone.
