God knows all about our lives—past, present and future. And yes, He does have a plan for us, and He does care about the decisions we make, because He knows that wrong decisions will only hurt us.
You see, God cares about every detail of our lives, because He loves us and wants what is best for us. Jesus said, “Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered” (Luke 12:6-7). God isn’t a vague, impersonal force (like gravity or electricity). He created you and He cares very deeply about what happens to you.
How do I know this? I know it because God sent His only Son into the world to save us and bring us into His presence forever. He never would have done that if He didn’t care for us—but He does care, and He does love us. He loves you! The Bible says, “This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins” (1 John 4:10).
There is no greater joy in life than knowing God’s will and then doing it—and that is what I invite you to do. Begin by turning to God and asking Christ to come into your life as your Lord and Savior. Then ask Him to guide you as you make decisions about your life—and He will.
