The Billy Graham Rapid Response Team (RRT) hosted a Law Enforcement Chaplain Training from January 26-31 at the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy in London, Ohio—just 25 miles southwest of Columbus, the state's capital.
The 6-day course equipped retired and active duty law enforcement officers or chaplains to offer emotional and spiritual care to fellow men and women in uniform.
While the RRT was originally created to offer hope to those during natural and man-made disasters, the ministry eventually developed a law enforcement program after taking note of the growing challenges officers face today. This training provides a safe atmosphere where those in uniform can learn how to reach other officers and their families with the love of Jesus Christ.
