  • Chaplains with the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team (BG-RRT) have deployed to Western North Carolina (above), Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee after Hurricane Helene barreled through last weekend. The storm left more than 200 dead, and the extent of its damage to homes, businesses, and other buildings is still unknown.
  • Helene made landfall in Florida as a Category 4 hurricane, killing 13 people in the Sunshine State according to news reports. Eleven of those were in the Tampa area (above).
  • Chaplains are trained in crisis response and share with those they minister to how to have peace on the inside—no matter what’s going on around us.
