Some Minneapolis locals have said they “just want peace” following the officer-involved shooting of Daunte Wright. The Minnesota community’s emotions have been high since George Floyd’s death last year and heightened during this week’s Derek Chauvin trial. Through the trauma and grief, Billy Graham chaplains have been offering a ministry of presence to the hurting city.
“We want to do something here that’s eternal,” said chaplain coordinator Freida Roulds.
