The Billy Graham Rapid Response Team (RRT) is deployed in three California communities after deadly wildfires and a mass shooting.
On Nov. 8, Billy Graham chaplains responded to the mass shooting that killed a dozen people at a bar in Thousand Oaks, California.
Within less than 48 hours, the team issued a second deployment in Butte County, California, as the vast, deadly Camp Fire continues to spread. Thousands of people have evacuated, and the fire has nearly destroyed the entire town of Paradise in the county. Franklin Graham tweeted, “Please pray for residents of this fire-devastated area.”
Chaplains have also deployed to the Woolsey Fire near Los Angeles, where at least three people died. Tens of thousands of acres and many homes have burned.
