Cissie Graham Lynch Encourages Hometown After Helene

Billy Graham Rapid Response Team chaplains are caring for the community of Boone, North Carolina, one of many across the Southeast heavily battered by Hurricane Helene.

Cissie Graham Lynch, Billy Graham’s granddaughter and Franklin Graham’s daughter, lives in Boone with her family.

“Our chaplains come in and take care of the spiritual need of those homeowners,” she said.

Crisis-trained chaplains are there for hurting people—“to listen, to wrap their arms around them, love them, and share the hope of Jesus.”
