In the days since four law enforcement officers tragically lost their lives during a shootout in Charlotte, North Carolina, chaplains with the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team (BG-RRT) have offered comfort to fellow officers during this difficult time.

Of BG-RRT’s network of crisis-trained chaplains, many have a law enforcement background, including those serving in Charlotte. Their personal experience allows them to make an immediate connection with officers trying to process such a traumatic incident.

“My prayer is that God’s loving arms would be wrapped around them and give them the comfort and peace and strength to get through this time,” Chaplain Richard Brown said.
