Hurricane Debby is a now a memory, but some residents of Savannah, Georgia, are still suffering after at least 18 inches of water left their homes in ruin.

“The storm may have passed but the residents are still affected emotionally and physically because they’ve lost everything,” said Liz Jackway, a chaplain coordinator for the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team.

“As chaplains, we come and we offer emotional and spiritual care to give them hope and encouragement and the peace we’ve found in Jesus.”

Watch this video and pray that many in this struggling Georgia community will find peace and hope in the Lord.
