Billy Graham: Peace for the Troubled Heart

On Dec. 31, 1975, Billy Graham delivered a New Year’s Eve message that is just as relevant today as we near the end of 2022.

“The world is changing so rapidly that I hardly know it anymore,” he said as America prepared to celebrate its 200th year. “There’s no doubt that many are confused, discouraged, cynical, afraid, and disillusioned.”

Billy Graham commented on the civil unrest, uncertainty, increased crime and drug addiction, massive debt, and pattern of broken homes plaguing not only the United States but many parts of the world.

And yet, even in the chaos and unknown, he said, it’s possible to find true peace.
