As a young politician, Mike Pence was often asked where he saw himself in the next five or 10 years. “Home for dinner,” he would reply. His latest book gives practical guidance for balancing life’s demands while keeping faith and family at the center. Last year, he signed copies of his first book, So Help Me God, at the Billy Graham Library.

Today, the Billy Graham Library in Charlotte, North Carolina, will host 48th Vice President Mike Pence to sign copies of his new book, Go Home for Dinner: Advice on How Faith Makes a Family and Family Makes a Life.

>>Make plans to attend the Mike Pence book signing Thursday, December 14, at 2 p.m.

Pence and his wife, Karen, have three children. The book, released in mid-November, was written with their eldest daughter, Charlotte Pence Bond, and offers personal stories of prioritizing family over other commitments.

“I hope these lessons and stories from our family encourage you to follow your dreams while keeping your family close,” he said. “Strong families are the very heartbeat of America. I believe we can heal our country by putting faith and family first—and it all starts when you go home for dinner.”

This guidebook for helping your family thrive follows Pence’s New York Times bestselling memoir, So Help Me God, which gives a closer look at how faith guided him through some tough decisions over the years.

Charlotte Pence Bond is author of Where You Go: Life Lessons from My Father, as well as a children’s series, illustrated by her mother.
