Franklin Graham Urges Glasgow: ‘Come and See What It’s All About’

“People are empty—they are not satisfied,” Franklin Graham said to the media Friday in Glasgow, Scotland. “There is a place inside each and every one of us that can only be filled by God Himself.”

“What can people expect at the OVO Hydro arena in Glasgow tomorrow night?” radio host Adam Stewart asked Franklin Graham on Friday.

The two sat down for an interview ahead of the second stop of the God Loves You Tour that kicked off in Birmingham, England, last week.

“I’m going to give a short message of how a person can have a relationship with God,” Graham explained. “I am not here to talk about religion—I’m talking about a personal relationship with God through His Son, Jesus Christ.”

The free June 22 event in Glasgow features live music from worship leaders, including TAYA and Michael W. Smith.

Scotland, the United Kingdom, and the world as a whole are constantly changing, Graham added, but what won’t change is mankind’s desperate need for God.

The news anchor asked Graham what he would say to those who are “on the fence” about coming.

“Don’t let others tell you how to think—you come and judge for yourself and see what it’s all about,” Graham answered. “Just get off the fence and come.”
