‘Everybody Is Welcome’

Franklin Graham spoke to the media Friday in Birmingham, England.

Franklin Graham sat down with British media outlets ahead of Saturday’s God Loves You Tour UK kickoff in Birmingham.

Graham said he came to share that Jesus Christ “shed His blood for our sins and for the sins of mankind,” and that if we “repent, turn from our sins, and believe in the Name of His Son—we will be saved.”

Billy Graham preached the same inspiring message in Birmingham 40 years ago.

“I remember my father preparing to come—and excited to come,” said Graham. “God used that to have an impact on this nation, and I think he preached [in England] more than any other country other than the United States.”

In past months, over 500 churches throughout the country have united in prayer and preparation for the tour.

Believers have been praying for those who don’t yet have a relationship with God’s Son, Jesus Christ—and many of them will bring their friends and family on one of 150 buses heading to the venue to hear a message of hope.

The free event at Resorts World Arena includes music by Michael W. Smith and TAYA, who will encourage the crowd to turn their attention toward God.

“Everybody is welcome,” said Graham.
