Answer
What good would it do for me to just tell myself I'm not so bad after all?
Answer
What would the world be like if Adam and Eve had never sinned? Or do you think it would be pretty much the same as it is right now?
Answer
How do I know if God has forgiven all my sins, when I can't even remember a lot of the sins I know I must have committed? In other words, does God only forgive the sins we remember, or will He forgive all our sins if we ask Him to?
Answer
How much sin can you get away with and still be a Christian? My friend claims to be a Christian, and I guess he is, but his lifestyle doesn't seem to be any different from his unreligious friends.
Answer
When do we stop sinning as Christians? I guess I thought I'd quit doing wrong once I reached a certain level of spiritual maturity, but it hasn't happened.
Answer
I've lived about as bad a life as anyone could, but now I've given my life to Jesus and I'm a changed person. How could I have been so blind all those years? People tried to wake me up, but I just laughed. I wish I'd listened. I wish too I could wake up my old friends.
Answer
I don't mean to be disrespectful, but why did God make us with so many defects? Why didn't He make us so we wouldn't sin and do bad things like make wars? It seems to me that if He'd done a better job of making us, we wouldn't have all these bad things, would we?
Answer
If Jesus has forgiven all our sins, then why do we have to stand before God and be judged when we die? What is left for God to judge, if all our sins have been taken away?
Answer
Is it possible for us to be so good that we'll become perfect and never commit another sin? If so, I know I have a long way to go, because no matter how hard I try I can't seem to get there.
Answer
Does God keep punishing us for our sins even after we've confessed them and asked Him to forgive us? I truly believe Jesus has forgiven me, but my life is still messed up because of some things I did in the past.
Answer
I've been reading the Old Testament recently (as part of a New Year's resolution). But I've gotten discouraged because I know I'll never be able to keep all those laws. There must be hundreds of them. Do you have any advice?
Answer
When we forgive someone for something they've done to us, is that supposed to erase all the problems between us? I've truly forgiven a friend for the deep hurt she caused me, but I can't pretend it never happened or resume our friendship the way it once was. Am I wrong to feel this way?
