Answer
How can we know if there is life after death? I'd like to think there is but I don't see any scientific reason to believe in it. Once a person is dead, that's the end of everything, in my view. Or am I overlooking something?
Answer
What do you think happens to us when we die? I don't think anything does, because once we die that's the end of everything for us. I'm sure you don't agree, but what are your reasons?
Answer
My cousin always claimed to be an agnostic -- a person who doesn't know if God is real. Last month, he had a heart attack, and although he's getting better, I know he could have died. Do you think God is giving him a second chance?
Answer
Please pray for me. The doctor says I need open-heart surgery, and I'm scared I won't make it. I've never been a religious person, but is it too late to turn to God? If I died right now I know I wouldn't go to heaven.
Answer
What happens to us in the first minute after we die? Do we enter heaven immediately, or do our souls go into some kind of a sleep until the end of time, when our souls and our bodies will be reunited? I've always had lots of questions about heaven.
Answer
I think I can honestly say that I'm not afraid of death, because I've committed my life to Jesus. But I am afraid of the process of dying.
Answer
I don't mean to be disrespectful, but why did God make the world so that some people die at a very young age, and others die when they're old? Why didn't He make it so everyone lives a long time and has a good life?
Answer
I know you've probably been asked this many times, but do we go immediately into God's presence when we die, or do we sleep (so to speak) until the end of time, when all the dead will be raised? I think about this often because my husband died last year, and I wonder if he's in heaven yet.
Answer
I truly believe in heaven, and that I'll go there when I die. But to be honest, I don't look forward to death, and I even hate to think about it. My life is happy and full right now, and I'd hate to leave my family and friends behind. Am I wrong to feel this way?
Answer
Did Jesus realize that He was going to be arrested and put to death when He went to Jerusalem for the last time? It seems to me that He easily could have called on the crowds who supported Him to demand His release. Then He could have avoided what happened afterward. Why didn't He?
Answer
My friend has never been very religious, but when he almost died in the hospital a few months ago he claims he saw Jesus standing in a tunnel of light. He recovered, but he still doesn't know what to make of it. Do you think he really saw Jesus?
Answer
I went to the funeral of a friend the other day, and to my surprise it was a very inspiring and joyful service. Later, her daughter told me that her mother had planned the whole service several years ago. Have you ever heard of anyone doing this?
