I haven't been a Christian very long, and I have some bad habits left over from my old days that I just can't seem to break. Is God going to give up on me and take away my salvation? I hope not, but I'm not making much progress.

A man I work with says he isn't concerned about missing out on heaven, because he believes that when he dies he'll get a second chance to believe in Jesus. In the meantime, he says he intends to keep living it up. Will we get a second chance after we die to believe in Jesus and be saved?

I have a good friend who, I think, truly believes in Jesus, as do I. But she says she's afraid I won't be in heaven with her, because she believes her church is the only true church, and you have to belong to it in order to be saved. What can I say to her?

My uncle never had anything to do with God, but on his deathbed his wife's pastor supposedly led him to Christ. Do you think God actually forgave him and allowed him into heaven, although he'd lived like the devil?

I never knew my grandfather, but from what I hear he had no use for God, and lived a very immoral and selfish life. Someone told me that a person's bad behavior could bring a curse from God on his descendants, so they can't be saved. This terrifies me. Is it true?

My neighbor says she's given her life to Jesus and has been saved, but I don't understand what she thinks she's been saved from. I thought she had a pretty good life before she got religion, but I guess she decided she needed something else.

A year ago I accepted Jesus into my life, and for a time I really felt He was with me. But now I find myself wondering sometimes if God even exists. This scares me, because I don't want to miss going to heaven. Why has this happened? Is the devil trying to turn me away from God?

I'm a firefighter and also a Christian. I know I'm in a dangerous profession and that every day might be my last, and that's one reason I gave my life to Christ several years ago. But most of my colleagues just laugh when I try to talk with them about Jesus and heaven. Why is this, do you suppose?

I've heard people say that all I have to do to get to heaven is to believe in Jesus. Well, I think I believe in Jesus, but down inside I'm not at all sure I'll go to heaven when I die. In fact, I kind of doubt if I will. What am I missing?
