I'm beginning to wonder what good it does to be a Christian. My sister is a very dedicated person, but the last couple of years have really been rough.
Answer
My husband has been out of work for 10 months now, and it's been the hardest time of our lives. I'm not even sure our marriage is going to survive. It's not just the lack of money, but his foul moods and even his belief that God has turned His back on us. How can we get through this?
Answer
I'd like to believe in God, but I just can't. No matter how hard I try, God just doesn't seem real to me. What would you say to someone like me?
Answer
If the Gospel is true, then why don't more people believe in Jesus and become His followers? What is their main problem, in your experience?
Answer
I get very concerned over the direction our country is going. We seem to have wandered a long way from the vision our forefathers had for our nation, and their strong belief in God. How can we get this back? Or is it too late?
Answer
Whenever I think about God I immediately think of my grandmother, because she was a woman of great faith - the best I ever knew. In spite of her example, I've never thought about God much, but now for some reason I find myself wanting the kind of faith she had. Is it too late for me?
Answer
I guess you'd say I'm sort of a "Christmas and Easter Christian" because those are about the only times I bother going to church. But this Easter, something about the service kind of got under my skin, and I'm wondering if maybe I need to give God a chance. But how do I begin?
Answer
I believe in God, but where does Jesus fit into the picture? My friend says it isn't enough to believe in God, but says I need to believe in Jesus also. Why?
Answer
Many years ago, when I was a teenager, someone took me to hear an evangelist. At the time, I really felt I ought to respond to his call to give my life to Jesus, but I resisted and turned my back on God. Will I ever have another chance, or has God passed me by?
Answer
I believe in God, and I guess I believe in Jesus. But I have a friend who says she talks with Jesus every day, and she says she knows she'll go to heaven when she dies. I wish I had her kind of faith, but how can I get it?
Answer
I felt very close to God when I gave my life to Jesus about a year ago, but now I don't feel that way at all. In fact, I don't feel much of anything. Has God given up on me? This really concerns me.
Answer
I guess I'm like lots of people my age. When I was young, I really believed in Jesus, but then I hit my teens and all that went out the window. But now that I'm older I know I need God. Will He take me back, or is He fed up with me?
