PHOTOS: Will Graham Encourages Wiregrass Celebration to Come Home to God
The second day of the Wiregrass Area Celebration was dedicated to students, and many young people decided to come forward and declare their need for the hope of Christ amid a broken world. The Celebration wrapped up Sunday.
Billy Graham's grandson, Will Graham, shared the Bible story of the
Prodigal Son
during Saturday's event, telling young and old alike—"God wants you to come home tonight. The Father is looking, and He's waiting for you."
People crowded the floor of the Dothan Civic Center after Will Graham gave the invitation to
receive Jesus Christ
.
Josh Havens and Matthew Fuqua of The Afters rock it out. Havens told the crowd, "I truly believe that God is bigger than all the brokenness in this world."
Who can resist cute farm animals? Kids and kids at heart came out for Saturday's FunFest before the Celebration's KidzFest event.
Hands up high to give God glory.
"It's time to come home," Will Graham said during his message. "Everything you've been looking for, the love you've been looking for, the acceptance you've been looking for, the purpose of life you've been looking for, all that is found in Jesus, in a
relationship with Jesus
."
These cuties wait patiently for the Celebration to start.
Christian rapper Aaron Cole is only 18 years old, but has a big heart for sharing his faith through music.
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” —1 John, 1:9
Will Graham gave a
message of God's love
following The Greatest Journey Live, a Bible study for children that brings the Gospel story to life through a short play.
Worshipping a good, good Father.
