Rachel-Ruth Wright Encourages Women ‘Do Not Fear’
It was an evening of fun and faith for women Saturday at the
Billy Graham Library’s
Ladies Night Out. Rachel-Ruth Wright, daughter of Anne Graham Lotz and granddaughter of Billy Graham, shared a message.
Guests enjoyed a string duet, filling the room with Christmas music.
Pulling from the Christmas story in Luke 2:10, Rachel-Ruth pointed out the first thing God told His angel to tell terrified shepherds was, “Do not be afraid” as Jesus' birth was announced. With so much fear in our world today, Rachel-Ruth encouraged ladies that the first thing we need to hear this season is, “Do not be afraid.”
Sweet and savory hors d'oeuvres were served through a buffet line in adherence with COVID-19 guidelines.
Guests were among the first to see the Library decorated for Christmas.
Christmas at the Library
starts November 30 and runs through December 23.
Reservations are required this year.

For eight years, Ladies Night Out has provided women with a break before the hustle and bustle of the holidays to simply enjoy each other’s company and focus on the Lord.
Rachel-Ruth Wright, her family and guests pause to capture a memory of the special night.
Attendees were left with a reminder that the hope we have in Jesus Christ is bigger than any fear.
