More fliers are handed out to women, who customarily carry goods they are selling on top of their heads.
In Accra, you will find yourself greeted with a smile more times than not.
More fliers being handed out to neighbors and friends.
Saturday and Sunday. Gates open at 4 p.m. It's the Ghana Jesus Festival with Franklin Graham. Insiders know: Get there early for a good seat.
Excited about the Ghana Jesus Festival? Everyone's coming.
Coming to hear what Rev. Franklin Graham has to say.
And what are you doing this weekend?
Buses are another form of advertising the Festival. Many will be riding such buses from rural areas to the 40,000-seat Accra Sports Stadium. Tro-tro (mini buses that hold 10-12 people) and Taxis are other common forms of transportation in Ghana.
The peace of God will surely be overflowing this weekend in Accra.
Advertisments for the Ghana Jesus Festival are popping up everywhere, including posters on the sides of vans and buses.
Music is a big part of the Ghana culture and the local talent is sure to please the thousands that come Saturday and Sunday.
Worship will be a big part of this weekend's Festival in Ghana, where 68 percent are Christians.
The Mass Choir has been working hard at bringing together many churches and denominations. A choir of between 1,000 and 2,000 members is expected and the harmonies will echo throughout the Stadium
During Friday night's Prayer and Dedication service at Accra Sports Stadium, many Ghanaians are filled with the anticipation of what the Spirit may do this weekend at the Ghana Jesus Festiva
Worship music will be mostly in English at the Ghana Jesus Festival, with 85 percent of the population speaking English. Although a close second is "Twi," a language many learn first as a child before starting to learn English in the third year of school.
Rockin' the sandals, the weather in Ghana is hot and humid, with April known as the hottest month and temperatures regularly in the 90s with high humidity.
Friendly Ghana stands out as a country as one of the most peaceful Christian nations in Africa.
It's tradition to dress up nicely in Ghana, even in rural areas, and these men are representing quite nicely.
A billboard outside Accra Sports Stadium promotes the April 28-29 Ghana Jesus Festival. Because of seating configurations, capacity of non-obstructed seats will be around 32,000 people, with an overflow viewing area in the concourse
Known as African's friendliest country, Ghana was formerly known as the Gold Coast. Currently, more than 23 million people call Ghana home, up 5 million from the 2000 census
