More than 100 pastors and leaders from across Northern Colorado gathered August 22 for a special daylong conference focused on ministering faithfully in light of today’s challenges.
Attendees were encouraged by Pastor Jim Cymbala from The Brooklyn Tabernacle ahead of the October 5-6 Northern Colorado Look Up Celebration with Will Graham. Cymbala regularly leads seminars at the Billy Graham Training Center at The Cove, including one this November.
In the midst of busy schedules, pastors enjoyed a refreshing time of worship led by staff of The Brooklyn Tabernacle.
Attendees lifted up their church and communities in prayer, asking God to do a powerful work through the Look Up Celebration.
Pastors and their spouses enjoyed fellowship and a complimentary lunch from local food trucks.
Participants learned about the Christian Life and Witness Course—practical evangelism training offered by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association—and received other materials to help their church get involved in the Celebration. Each received a copy of Cymbala’s recent book Fan the Flame, which he wrote to renew pastors in their calling.
Attendees share a laugh with a Billy Graham Rapid Response Team chaplain, available for pastors who needed someone to talk to or pray with.
