Multicultural Sudbury Comes Together to Hear About God
The Greater Sudbury area of Ontario is a world-class mining center with more than 300 lakes and a large French-speaking population. Will Graham visited the region to preach at the Greater Sudbury Celebration, which wrapped up Sunday.
Read about the city and Will Graham's message to the crowd Saturday night.
About four hours north of Toronto, Will Graham shared his experience of getting lost on the way to an event once. The mistake took him two hours in the wrong direction. Drawing on his example, he said it's never too late to get back on the right path.
On Friday, KidzFest reminded children in the area how God loves them and has a plan for each one of them.
In trying times, Jesus is our strength. "He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be greatly shaken" (Psalm 62:2).
Life can get busy, but events like this offer a time to pause and reflect on your relationship with Christ.
Do you know the only One worth our worship and devotion?
The Afters always bring energy to the stage, whether performing in the dry Outback of Australia or here in chilly Canada.
"The good news is, there’s a do-over in life," Will Graham said during Friday's KidzFest, a message he repeated for all ages on Saturday night.
Start a new life with God.
At Saturday's Celebration, held in the Sudbury Community Arena, Sudbury Mayor Brian Bigger offered a greeting to families: “It just goes to show just how capable we all are of overcoming adversity when we all work together. ... We all know we must do what we can to help friends, family, neighbors during these times, with the power of prayer and the compassion to act and the wisdom to resolve these challenges.”
Canadian band The Color received a warm welcome from the crowd.
A sign language interpreter was on hand for all those watching in person or online. Did you know the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association has an online American Sign Language ministry?
Read more about it.
Like any city in the world, the Greater Sudbury area has plenty of challenges. Please keep this part of the world in your prayers.
