Franklin Graham Tours Tornado Aftermath
Franklin Graham surveys tornado damage in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Samaritan's Purse disaster staff and volunteers and Billy Graham Rapid Response Team chaplains will be in the area for months.
"I pray that this community comes out of this stronger and more united than ever before," he said.
"A lot of people in this area are poor and don't have insurance, and if somebody doesn't try to help them, everything they have is lost."
"Tornadoes are the most destructive disasters. They hit neighborhoods like atomic bombs." - Franklin Graham
Speaking to Samaritan's Purse volunteers at a local chruch, he said, "We know that Jesus Christ is the only One who can be our anchor in a time like this. He is our only strength."
Billy Graham Rapid Response Team chaplains will be bringing spiritual support and comfort to people throughout the region.
Franklin Graham on tornado victims: "We just want to minister to them and love them."
