Chaplains Sharing Love of Christ in Nice, France
Crisis-trained chaplains with the
Billy Graham Rapid Response Team
are in Nice, France, offering emotional and spiritual care in the
aftermath of an attack
that killed 84 people and wounded many more. Chaplains notably are visiting the memorials along the iconic Promenade des Anglais, where the apparent act of terrorism occurred.
Many tears have been shed as the chaplains listen and pray with those grieving at the memorials.
Candles, flowers, stuffed animals and messages written in chalk are among the many mementos left in tribute to those deceased.
Praying for the comfort that
only God
can bring in times of trials.
Chaplains listen as one lady shares her story.
Crisis-trained chaplains from Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States are offering a ministry of presence in Nice, a picturesque resort town facing the Mediterranean Sea.
One chaplain said, "What we're there to do is share the
love of Christ
."
Please keep the Nice community and the chaplains in your prayers.
