The

Damaged wood and furniture—even a toilet—is piled at the curb of this Jacksonville, North Carolina, home. This scenario is common in the coastal-area community, where hundreds were rescued from flooded homes.

Chaplains are available to talk with residents, many who are cleaning out damaged items.
Countless trees came down in the New Bern area. North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper has estimated damage to the state will be in the billions of dollars.

Will you commit to pray for those affected by the storm?
The storm left this giant tree in Jacksonville leaning precariously.
Homes weren't the only things lost or damaged in the storm. North Carolina officials say 3.4 million chickens and 5,500 hogs were killed in flooding from Florence.
Worried about damage from the storm or other life storms?
Praying can bring you peace.
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." —Philippians 4:6-7
