Bikers Pack Over 5,400 Shoeboxes for Kids
The Billy Graham Library
hosted its 9th annual Bikers With Boxes event on Saturday, Oct. 15, in conjunction with Operation Christmas Child. Bikers from around the region brought shoeboxes filled with goodies for children around the world.
Over 1,200 people attended the event, sharing in food, games, laughs and, of course, their hope of spreading God's love through the shoebox gifts.

A total of 5,436 boxes were collected, almost 1,000 more than last year.
Samaritan's Purse oversees Operation Christmas Child. The organization posted pictures of children around the globe so bikers could pick one and pray over each child.
Adding a box to the pile.
The Carolina Faith Riders out of Greensboro, North Carolina, contributed the most shoeboxes as a group at 1,648 boxes.
This teddy bear came along for the ride.
A photo-worthy duo.
Many who attended toured the Billy Graham Library afterwards. The free tour tells the story of how God has used Billy Graham to spread the Gospel, and gives people a chance to
respond to that Gospel, too
.
Bikers With Boxes is one of the Library's largest annual events.

A photo booth of sorts to capture the event.
That's a wrap for this year's Bikers With Boxes, but the Billy Graham Library has a lot to offer all year long.
See what's coming up.
