Word Made Flesh

On the cover of your Bible and my Bible appear the words “Holy Bible.” Do you know why the Bible is called holy? Why should it be called holy when so much lust and hate and greed and war are found in it? It is because the Bible tells the truth. It tells the truth about God, about man, and about the devil. The Bible teaches that we exchange the truth of God for the devil’s lie about sex, for example; and drugs, and alcohol, and religious hypocrisy. Jesus Christ is the ultimate truth. Furthermore, He told the truth. Jesus said that He was the truth, and the truth would make us free.

Prayer for the day

Almighty God, I thank You for the truth which You have given me through Your beloved Son, Jesus Christ.

  1. David says:

I appreciate sharing the word with you.

  2. Gerry says:

There are countless books written on the subject of self help. However if you combine every book ever written on the topic, it would not come remotely close to the wisdom and perfect Godly advice found in the Holy Bible. I pray that people would open the drawer, dust it off and begin to prayerfully read the greatest book ever written. The answer to all life’s problems can be found there.

  3. Phyllis Jacobsen says:

  4. Dedarah says:

To God be the glory for all he has done. Thank you Lord for all you do, have done, and what you’re doing in our lives. Thank you for loving us so much you sent Jesus, your only son who never backed down, never gave up on us. Thank you Jesus and thank you Lord God for our comforter the Holy Spirit, the unfailing guide that continues to lead us and guide us if we listen. Thank you just because you’re God the Father, no help needed. You are awesome, God. I love you more than words can say and I want to learn more about you. Thank you for the living Word. Thank you.
